The After School Study Hall continues to serve our resident students with their educational efforts. The computer labs are a valuable asset and they enhance the learning experience. There are Certified Teachers and aides in each Study Hall Center who are ready to assist with tutoring and homework.
The Camden Housing Authority awards two four-year scholarships to graduating senior residents annually. The Gloria M. Barnes and Mason-Broach Scholarship Award is named for the First Resident Services Director and the second and third Executive Directors of the Authority, respectively. These annual awards are awarded to resident seniors based on overall grade point and extra curricular activities. These scholarships are renewable each year given satisfactory performance at the post-secondary level.
The Arkansas NAHRO Chapter is offering Scholarships for Residents who reside in Public Housing or Section 8 and plan on going to college. The Resident Scholarship is available to all Public Housing or Section 8 Seniors who plan on going to college. The Single Parent Scholarship is available for Public Housing or Section 8 Residents who plan on going to college.
The applications with the eligibility requirements are available in the office where you pay rent.
